I am a board certified family physician who specializes in cosmetic dermatology, physical medicine, and anti-aging. I also hold a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science, and have worked as a personal trainer and coach for over 25 years.

I am committed to delivering a holistic medical approach which examines factors such as lifestyle, genetics, and environment. I honestly believe that patients know their own bodies better than anyone else does, and I truly take time to listen and address what bothers my patients the most. Each patient is a whole person and not just a set of symptoms.

When asked what I do for a living, I always mention my primary career in medicine, but I am so deeply involved in fitness and overall wellness that I am constantly exploring new avenues by which I can drive home my message of optimal living.

One very pivotal part of my life was my involvement in competitive bodybuilding. I began competing in the Bikini Division of the NPC, in 2009 at the age of 43, and was completely swept up into that world, competing in seven national-qualifying contests, fourteen pro-qualifying contests and four Pro events. I attained IFBB Professional Status in July of 2013 at NPC Team Universe, and consider that accomplishment one of my greatest. I am proud and honored to be a part of the IFBB!

Whether I am seeing patients, coaching contest prep clients, designing exercise and nutrition plans, writing articles, acting, modeling, or representing numerous companies as a brand ambassador, I always try to send a message to people that it is possible to improve with age and reach your ultimate life goals as you get older.
